I wrestled with whether I should do this, and finally convinced myself it'd be okay.
I wasn't sure where to put this, but...
As anyone who listened to the newest podcast knows, it's moving to
New Gen Gamers. Nothing else is changing except I'm getting more support from Outspark, so there'll be more staff interviews and other cool stuff in the near future.
What you may not know is that I'm a partner at New Gen Gamers(go figure
) And we are in need of any help we can get.
We are doing a massive site redesign, so the link above is the "old" site until this new super-mega-cool site goes up. But it's already taken 3 months, and looks like many more months to go.
We're restructuring all the databases as well as the huge facelift. We're using Joomla 1.5 Content Management System to do this.
We're going to launch this site as a "beta" site and use that technique and position to "hire" staff(writers, forum mods, etc...)
Basically if anybody would like to help, we could use all we can get.
We are really struggling with making all the PHP, and CSS based modules, components, and plugins work together. They are all "hackable" but we do not have that knowledge
And we only have 1 "real" graphic designer helping but there's so much that needs done.
