Considering Name Dropping is uhm.....against the rules, I'll post with no namedropping.

I think I'll start to frequent this forum more often now that I'm getting more and more angry at the Outspark Administration every time I time I try to deal with a long recurring problem with a player. Now granted, the person I've been TRYING to report has been my friend, but as of the last 5-6 months, things have went down the proverbial tubes.

I mean, this summer has been up and down, but most of my Senior year of High School was a major disappointment, and it doesn't help when varied people close to you die in the middle of it, and said friend starts telling you to commit suicide, or go cry to someone else, espicially if its someone you've trusted for over 2 years.

Since its came down to the person, after saying some very horrible things repeatedly, several times over the outspark service, I reported the person, and to this minute, I have never recieved a response.

I submitted the report, once in May, once in July, and I've even used a person close to the Administration to try and handle the report, which has told me that a certain GM has not answered/given confirmation on ANY of the harrassment reports that has been sent to a certain GM.

All the while, I see Fiesta_Help and GMs in game all the time x.x

Which ticks me off about whats going on because they aren't even trying to deal with my situation. In fact, all they've done is ignore it, for over a month.

Sorry, just ranting about a general situation x.x

Most people here don't visit the official forums either because there are always people being drama queens on there. Heck I'm starting to hate Outspark forums with a fiery passion now.

I don't often post there but when I did people there take things waaaay too seriously. 2 people in particular 1 of them is registered here too which annoys the heck outta me since I use this place as a Retreat from that terrible place.

Someone who tells you to run away from life when you have problems obviously isn't a friend. Guess all you can do when you're in-game is block the person and try sending more reports even on top of those you've already sent. I'm pretty sure that if you try to keep your head and act like the higher-person that they'll see to it in time.


If not, then that's on them.

Yea, thing is they admitted they said it and refused to apologize for it, which is when I wanted to get outspark involved to get the user noticed.

I only frequent the Troubleshooting/Feedback portions of the outspark forums, life is alot less stressful. All I do is direct people to support.outspark.com or tell them to update their graphics drivers. The general two fixes to the general two problems posted xD

I'm confused.

You reported them because they told you to "to commit suicide, or go cry to someone else"? Or did you report them for harassment?

If harassment,, then more specifically, in what manner?

I'm wondering if the lack of response is because the Outspark staff is not capable, much less willing to engage in every disagreement or difference of opinion.

Harassment, on the other hand, they should be engaged - if it qualifies as harassment, meaning this person harasses you in-game to the point they have prevent you from playing.

Outspark won't always respond to PMs. The issue is pretty much between the person reported, and the GM (you could always try a PM receipt, it lets you know when the PM has been opened). Also, they get many PMs, if they take the time to respond, they can get behind in work. Some issues may be more urgent than others.

Also... they cannot go by he-said-she-saids, I hope you provided screenshots? If there is no proof of this harassment, then they cannot act.

Also also, you could always try whispering a GL. They aren't always online, but its worth a try, there's [GL]Nei, [GL]Fox, [GL]Asp, and [GL]Rae.

When talking to a GL, don't be vague or demanding. Tell them you are having a harassment issue with _______.

Just try to be sticks and stones in this situation. Anyone who talks to you like that is not a friend, and doesn't deserve your time.

I did a read recipet, they haven't opened it in a month x.x Which really does kinda annoy me. I rarely see a [GL] anyways, and I haven't seen Nei in over 2 months, since I went to Orientation for college.

I was harrassed with varied unwanted things, and when the matter was relevant, I sent a PM, and I've sent at least one more since then. x.x IT wasn't just me, the things said to me, I can handle, but the person also started to slander my guild and its members at one point too, which really ticked me off x.x
