It'll improve performance slightly. If you're one of the few who has a Blu-ray player, it'll add recognition ability to that, and it'll add a tool that deletes temporary system update files.

I trust you'll have read the patch notes, so I won't get into too much detail about the other features. You'll notice a slight improvement. We're talking like 5-10%. Which is still something, but 7 crushes Vista.

Even after almost 4 months, 7 is just as fast as when I installed it. Maybe I'm taking good care of it, but the average user should experience similar results.
