I read in MX (this free newspaper we get in australia on the train) that guys get addicted to games because there is a sense of owning and taking over territory and space or something. Like.. guys even got addicted to a game where you click dots on a screen to see who clicks the most dots or something. It was a Stamford Uni study...
I like MMO games mainly because of the looks, the potential of getting cool nice items, levelling up and and... talking to randoms in game haha XD
