First off, welcome to FF.

You can always go into the mines to find mid quality copper ores for decomping... then selling the low quality ones. :P Since you're level 14 you can farm Ratmen then later Lizardmen for SBL. I think after that you have to wait til you can kill Ice Vivis for the SBL.

Full SPR might be hard to start with but it will pay off later in game so keep at it and best of luck.
