I have Hypercam2. It's useful sometimes, but for recording games I prefer fraps. Hypercam requires a little more setup than fraps and if you just use the default codec it's pretty crappy quality. Most of the codecs caused some pretty noticeable slowdown in the games too. It also gave me a little trouble getting sound to record properly and seems to flake out when I try using certain codecs. I've used Hypercam for recording other desktop stuff though.
