Of course, there is a significance difference using scrolls, but that doesn't make us invincible.
I don't really understand what you mean here. Do you mean, would we rather die (because we aren't kiting) than to risk being hit by one more agro? (If not, please ignore what I write below, xD).
If that's what you mean, then nope, I disagree that. We don't prefer to die, of course, but we see that kiting would increase the chance of dying instead of decreasing it. If you mean kiting would increase your chance of surviving, I don't see how that works. The purpose of kiting is to get away from the mob so it can't hit you while you kill it from a range, right? Well, what's the point of that if another mob comes and hit you instead? Aren't we trying to avoid being hit my mobs in the first place?

Its very simple for archers:

Kite or Die....you maybe able to get away with standing still at lower lvls but I can guarantee you wont be able to drop the majority of the higher lvl mobs before they get to you if a mage takes about 2-3 shots to do it. Archers with the way damage is will take even longer. But heres a small example: My Cleric has 425+ defense an around 1.1k hp...*
an Archer will have much much less between words* for my example mob I'll use Goblin Captains
*a mob in Goblin camp*. it does about 100-200 dmg on me with regular attacks and it also has a skill which does about 300-360 dmg to me. Archers with thier much lower defense will take about 200-300 regular attack dmg and about 500-600 skill dmg factor in lower hp from lack END and that means standing still is basically suicide.
Just because someone says kite doesnt mean you run all over creation which is a common misconception. Kiting simply means moving a bit to give yourself added room. The only kind of Kiting that requires running all over creation is when you are setting yourself up to AOE a big group then you run all over gathering mobs*This doesnt apply to Fiesta cept maybe for mages*. If a person kites well/correctly all he/she will need is a few steps to give themselves the necessary room to drop the mob. As for a few added mobs again if you kite well/correctly they will give you no trouble. Either way you may as well start learning to do it in PvE cause in PvP a still archer is a dead archer.
If anything kiting improves your chances of survival.
