i think that always happens. If you find a stat armor the chances are the stats are not even needed for that character. Like INT for Archer or Fighter. XD! Or DEX for Mage or Cleric. Just usually happens.

I found a level 8 mage shirt, that's about the best thing thing I guess. It wasn't all that great though. It might've been good had it been archer armor since it added the most to DEX and STR and a good bit of evasion, but no +INT at all.

hrmm i think evasion is added by all armor pieces...same with magic defense but i might be wrong
