I know of a couple places. I've spotted 3 in Sand Beach, one of them I always get at the same coordinate. I doubt it's every 6 hrs though. I found a chest, went back 4 hours later and found it there again. So maybe in 4~6 hrs...?
The chests do spawn in the same coordinate I think and in a Japanese wiki, they contain certain items (drops are random) according to which place. I guess I can go and translate the wiki when I'm off work for other people.
Of course, I don't want to give off exact coordinates cause... I need to get more items to sell. :P
