I'm looking for a PVR.. and they seem to be on its way to extinction...

So I haven't got a lot of choices.. the only reputable brand I can find is Panasonic...

Panasonic DMR-XW390 $500 with 500GB

Panasonic DMR-HW220 $400 with 1TB HDD

Can anyone see why a recorder with half the capacity is $100 more expensive than the one with 1TB?
