Ellen is getting better and better... you watch stuff in the first few season and it's a bit awkward... but in the last 2-3 seasons she's become quite a likeable person I think...

I've always found her like-able. Maybe one of those people you need to get used to because she's so corky and energetic, but in the end you look past that and see the cool woman. She was probably just unsure of what she wanted out of her show in the beginning so she took it easy. But as she went on, they found a rhythm for the show. Not to mention, she's probably inherited a lot of Oprah's former viewers, so her views have gone up which probably means their budget went up which means room for more fun!
