Thought I'd ask if there's any food that you love that is native to where you're from?
Just curious because I was just talking to my boyfriend and told him I was eating gumbo and he has no idea what gumbo is. I guess it's a Southern US thing x.x It's originally from New Orleans, but I used to live rather close to New Orleans, so creole dishes were common growing up.
Suppose I could share a picture too haha. But it's not very special looking. Looks like a shrimpy (and/or kielbasa-y) stew on rice.
