The holidays are hectic. So many deals and so much pressure to get people what they want for Christmas.
I haven't had too many issues. But one year my mom and I got bitched at by a lady at the mall and a lady at toy charity drive thingy.
At the mall my mom was in a wheel chair and I was pushing her around and we were simply trying to cross the hallway to get the other side and get to a store. The mall was packed and we didn't wanna just rush into the group of people and possibly run over someones foot. But people just weren't letting us get across the hallway so I just did it... I pushed my mom across. I didn't run into anyone but a lady we were walking behind as we walked diagonally across decided to randomly turn around and walk against traffic... causing her to bump into my moms chair and stumble a little. She started yelling at us "YOU DON'T RUN THIS PLACE!!! Just because you're in a wheel chair blah blah blah" My mom just scowled at her
Then my mom was going to go pick up toys for the kids from a Toys for Tots-like charity. My mom was further up the line and I was waiting in the car because they only allow one person to go in per group of kids. But since my mom was disabled, she got permission to let me come in and push her in her wheel chair while she got stuff and looked for stuff for the kids. As I was making my way up the line a lady flipped out and yelled at me "Um... excuse me?? There is a line here!" I just looked at her blankly and told her my disabled mom is further up the line and needs me to help her. I think the women felt really embarrassed after that. I pulled the disabled card ;p Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions. Common sense... people lined up, there is a line. Hm... what should I do.
