IdeaPad Y560p

Basically a step up in terms of processor power, a downsize in screen size, and a fairly standard screen resolution. RAM and hard drive size is reduced, but these are fairly minor tradeoffs for a better processor. The clock speeds are faster on the Sandy Bridge i5 you linked, but the i7 is a quad core. The graphics card is slightly better than the second laptop you linked.

Downside to the quad core is that it can run hot. You will probably need a laptop cooler. I personally recommend a laptop cooler for anyone who uses a gaming laptop, but whether you get one or not is your decision.

Also, you could look into the IdeaPad Y570. Features the newest i5 series processor and a high end graphics card. The 555 GT is a tiny bit slower than the 260 GTX, which is fairly strong graphics card.
