The portraits that are black, were actually the moving pictures. They put this awesome texture over the videos to make them look like paintings. You can't see them in the pictures because it's really dim in the castle. You can't take pics without the flash and the flash makes it so you can't see the "paintings"

In Dumbledore's office, Dumbledore was actually at the top of his balcony. You can kind of see him but not really and it's because of the same reason. Same goes for not seeing Harry, Ron and Hermione in the Dark Arts room and for not seeing the fat lady in her portrait.

Also, the quality differs between some pictures because some were taken with our Canon while others with my phone xD
