Welcome.
The exp bar is right around your character's portrait on the upper left side (by default) of the screen. There are bubbles lined up from the bottom of the portrait going counter-clockwise. Each bubble represents 10%. To the left of this set-up, is the exp bar itself. It fills up going clockwise as you gain exp.
BUT, if you're talking about the exp display only, hit C, your character information window.
