QQ
The other day this Chinese lady came in and she wanted to scan and e-mail some documents to someone in China. Only thing was that they didn't really have an e-mail so they I guess created one...
The following conversation took place.
Me: Okay, so I'm going to need an e-mail address to send these scans to.
Lady: Then don't have e-mail.
Me: ... Okay then how are you going to send these documents?
Lady: Wait, I call them.
(She's talking on the phone and trying to get them to figure out an e-mail address. Then she turns to me.)
Lady: Do you know QQ?
Me: Sorry, what?
Lady: QQ. Do you know QQ?
Me: ... No...
Lady: They have e-mail, it's *random numbers*@QQ.com
Me: Okay...
And on my way to work there's a place called QQ SuShi... and at the usual place I get my BBT there's another store called QQ*Chinese characters that probably mean cafe*. QQ is everywhere.
Do you know QQ? QQ?
