Hmm, you're lucky. When one of my friends had a birthday, we bought him a cake but forgot about the candles. His solution to that problem? Set the cake on fire. After 2 minutes of trying to blow it out didn't help (not even a 10-person team effort), as retarded as that sounds, dowsing the whole thing then with beer actually worked. Even more surprisingly, it was still edible. Smokey beer flavour. Yummy.
