My poppy build: Dorans Blade> Boots> Sheen> Mercury> GhostBlade> GA> Triforce
GA and triforce can be switched around depending on how your doing.I like triforce better then frozen because poppy benefits from all three of the core items and instead of wasting two slots for two of them, I'd rather have one slot for all three of them. Also, I like to get ignite and exhaust and my two summoner spells.

If the game goes further then get infinity or phantom. Also, if your doing pretty good you can get levi's after sheen, but you shouldn't worry about that.

Also blahs, if your playing poppy and your the tankiest champion there, it's already a lost. Unless the other team has an equally bad setup. I know this may be strange for you, but you should play what the team needs. I usually play poppy when we already have a full tank, and a mage. I think she fits best then.
