Yeah... Chinese places do seem to do that alot.
Or this one place we always go to for pho. We know the owner and the waiter there and one night the waiter comes to our table, places a dish and walks away giggling (yes, he giggles but he's such a nice person
). Then comes back later and is like "how was it? I just made it today". ._. We were guinea pigs but least it was good, lol.
