So.. we need a new printer...

And we like our multi function ones, with copier, printer, scanner..

Another feature that some of these have is FAX. The out of date function that my parents would like to have...

So.. How does a fax machine like this work? Does it NEED a phone line? or can it just go through a router?

I know that the models that we're looking at doesn't receive fax.. if that's any help..
