IGN is Mnemoth.
I actually wouldn't recommend Tristana. She gets a really easy rating. But she was the first character I tried and she's actually pretty hard because all she does is straight damage and her other skills are pretty situational.
I think Teemo is easier.
And, if you want a nuker mage, I heard Annie is easy. Veigar is hella hard. I could never stack enough AP. I've had some Veigars kill me about 5 feet away from fountain, though.
Ryze is actually pretty newb-friendly too because his root is pretty easy to hit and then it's just hitting W and R.
Another easy DPS character would be Sivir.
