That video, though it was a joke, is probably true for some people...
My mom would try to limit my time on the comp or used to but that didn't work too well... and the thing is I'm the only person in the family who knows more than just opening up the browser and checking e-mail. xD
If and when I do have a kid... if they do what Mikey does (call if they're gonna be late for curfew, etc) then I don't see any problem really. As long as I know they're okay and I have an idea of where they may be. Some parents are way to protective...
