Yeah it's pretty hard.. the weight thing.. I think you have to:

Put a robot on the left weight
Put another robot on the left weight, but have it jump up and down lots

Then have your active robot go on the right weight, and jump up to try and get the skip while the past robot is jumping up and down on the left weight.

I can't exactly remember how it worked, but that's how I did. With all the jumping, there will be a point where the right weight is high enough for your active robot to get to the skip icon. lulz. Just have to time it nicely.
