LOLWUT? A prosecutor's job is to convict, the defense lawyer's job is to acquit. Even if someone is found bathed in the blood of the victim and admits in writing that he killed the person after raping puppies, the person's defense lawyer (even court appointed) must vigorously defend the defendant.

oh, i know. It's a rule that if the defendant admits to the defense attourney they were the killer, the atourney cant say a thing about it. but what im saying is that it's kinda the point of the system- to root out the truth with opposing sides.
