NUPOS
I'm going into a new store in the beginning of August, and we're getting NUPOS. I'm the second assistant store manager at my store, and for the past 6 years of my life have used PC-POS. What are people's opinions of it? I'd like feedback from managers if at all possible, too. When we went to the training for it, the manager functions seemed a bit complicated.

So...what's nupos?

NuPOS is what it sounds like.....a new PoS system. Basically, you poke a picture of an item instead of some bizzaar acronym like Dbqchz or whatev. Customer wants a cheeseburger....poke the picture of the cheeseburger. A meal is produced by poking the size of the meal desired and then poking the pic of the entree. Grill orders are much easier, and can be modified as many times as needed. The list of benefits goes on. A new person can be trained and using it somewhat effectively in about 10 minutes, though I never recommend this short of a period for a new trainee. Just saying....it's that easy.
