@ your other questions:
there is no time frame. The Cross Examination can last for any reasonable amount of time, unless you begin to get off track, or attack the witness baselessly. The judge will decide when such a thing happens. The jury can talk to one another for however long they want, too.
i'll try to get role descriptions up, too, right after i've sent out roles.
The game starts after both lawyers give their opening statements. After that, the first witness will take the stand and the prosecutor can begin cross-examination. If you have no opening statements, we'll move right on to the cross examination.
