Heh... im actually rather surprised they didnt murder me, since im 2 for 2... Ah, well.
i think the logical candidates for mind drain arent those we trust, but those we've looked over the whole game. those who havent talked too much about the game. Perhaps Kayla, Ralath, or Jack... Though Manz, Hessah, and Blahhhs are also rather good choices...
This is all speculation, though. im not sure of any of these choices.
