ehh, i cant seem to make my side bar so that its transparent

i tried backgroudmode=1
but it still stays black
oh and when its transparent, can you still see the box? Or will it be like, totally invisible

Have you tried background mode=0?
Making it 100% transparent will make it completely invisible!

No idea. I have a feeling that'd be a no though.

But anyway, my dream is to get something like this guy's desktop (without the taskbar and choppy icons).
No icons, just sleek neat text, its awesome.
Technical difficulties and the need for the taskbar tray keeps me from that.
