The food that they're selling, bakudanyaki, in literal translation is "grilled bomb".
I designed a wordmark for them which you can see in my site. Client asked for it to look sophisticated and clean. Even though they are selling it from a trailer, kind of like those Asian food carts. And looking at their current site it's the absolute opposite. If they wanted to go for tacky sure it'd work but... no.
