I have no guild tag, but I think that you should delete the tags from the guild's that you do not deem active, and when they complain, you should state the reasons, for deleting the tag. Then if they really want the tag, they need to get the guild more active. That way the guild forums that are active, but arn't getting punished because of the non-active guild forums.

We could have made a criteria for what guilds are determined to be active enough to retain the guild tag, however, this criteria would not really pick up the active guild forums anyway (e.g. people can make a spam post in it just to claim that it is active.) Instead of trying to determine what guilds are active or not, we've decided to just remove all guild tags (mainly to also avoid unequity and unfairness to any guild if some were determined not to be active).
