Sounds like one of my ex-girlfriends. We were driving out in Texas and there was a very large herd grazing, mostly brown and a few black cattle. I pointed out the huge herd, and she said, "Those aren't cows! Cows are only black and white!"
I had to explain the difference between dairy cows and beef cattle and the various breeds, and that she was talking about Holsteins, a type of dairy cow.
