i'm not so much bothered by the voice (seeing as that's not his fault) but by the sheer stupidity and lack of depth that he shows. he only cares about killing people. not the strategy of shooters, and he ignores music, though it can make or break a game (see The World Ends With You)
EDIT: you know ANOTHER game in which you got to beat up things/kill people? superman 64...
