But Mind Drain doesn't DO ANYTHING against mobs. Doesn't do damage so I don't know why you would waste SP on casting a spell that does NOTHING. People have even tested using Mind Drain on Mini Dragon to see if he jumps less or breathes fire less and it doesn't.

Hold on, I think you're confusing mind drain with mana burn. Mind drain = fear. I know that fear doesn't work on bosses. Unless they were trying to fear MD...
(but if you did confuse it with manaburn, manaburn does do damage xD).
