Rappers and whoever else thinks "sampling" music is new or original (I'm looking at you, Jessica Simpson. I hear "Jack and Diane" start and then I'm greeting with your pitch-seeking warbling...ugh) should be shot. Granted, Misirlou was a traditional Greek song before Dick Dale made the surf rock version...but still. They didn't even go to the source and just used Dale's version and added some words. I'm glad this was in MoS.
