It kind of happened on my archer too... I was max distance away and it told me I wasn't within casting. When the mob moved a fraction I was in the same spot... shot it fine. .___. I hope they fix it with the next patch.
The crit sfx wasn't so bad on my archer but... I thought I was going to be deaf when I was playing my fighter who happen to have a crit suit. x__x
