yepyep - 16.8 F here and I'm not up north either.
And OMG, between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. my power was knocked off no less than 8 times by all the people in my grid who use heat-pump systems! It never stayed off more than a couple of minutes at a time, but I'm hoping all those people went to work and the power will stay on now.
