I have given pets away before. But, they never asked me for one.
They would ask me about them and how to get them and after they start to leave, I would then proceed to give them one. done that about 4 times. But, meh, I gots lots of pets, lol. And I remember how badly I wanted one when I started out playing.
I paid a guildie like 20silvers for my first pet and that was a discounted rate way back then. I turned around and gave it to Loki, lol. Btw - thx JT,

But, yeah, if people beg, it is annoying. I recently deleted someone off my friends list because everytime I logged in he would whisper me asking me for money.
