I agree, fighters are easy to start up. Mages are tough and you will die....alot. Archers are cool and they can run a lot during and in between attacks, and get aoes early. Mages don't get any aoes until lvl 60 excpet magic burst, and you have to be damn next to the enemy to cast it (Can you say D-E-A-T-H?) I causes much aggro and can even lead monsters away from the tanks and healers if you do it damn much like I do.
I say roll with a fighter if you don't want a lot a help, want to get into the best parties, and like a simpler fiesta experience because you shrug off a lot of damage and can still roll with the punches.
