Simple solution.
Xfire. Ingame instant messenger, has a built in chat function for fullscreen games AND a built in game recording method. Doesnt encode though, so watch your diskspace. I recorded a pvp rumble that ended up being 2.2gigs.
Wasnt too happy about that...
