So if you find these sets and collect all of them what sort of bonuses do you get? O_o More defense/m.def sort of thing?

Set items have a chance to drop from monsters in the world. Each set has 2-4 pieces, and as you collect pieces of a set, you're rewarded with increasingly powerful bonuses for wearing pieces of the set at the same time.
As for the bonuses themselves... well, you'll have to discover them on your own. We don't want to give away all the game's secrets
