TBH, there are so many things that have gone on over the last 15 years of dealing with ex-daughter-in laws that the issues are to numerous to recount. This post would be the longest in FF history if I were to try to list all the crap. And the biggest issue is both of the momma ones use my grandkids as collateral to get their way.

The one who is mother of the older granddaughter is a compulsive liar and yet she will punish my granddaughter to an extreme if she catches her in a lie. She also filed false charges against me and then she never showed up in court because she knew she couldn't prove her charges, so they were eventually dropped. She also refuses to keep my granddaughter on medicine for her ADD even though it has proven to be effective in helping her maintain better grades. She also will not help her at all with any homework or projects and yet will keep her grounded all school year for not maintaining better grades.

The one who is mother to my youngest granddaughter will leave her with me from Friday as soon as I am off work until Sunday 6 p.m. or later, unless . . . unless I refuse to hand her money when she moan & groans that she's broke. And in that case she will keep the baby from visiting at all for weeks at a time. And on one of her recent attempts to extort money from me she actually had the nerve to show up less than a month after I told her I would not pay her $400 power bill with a dog she bought for $200 and was so proud of herself because she negotiated the seller down from $270 (and then left the dog, a Chihuahua, outside during the day while she was at work and it disappeared).
