When I go overseas I'm going to Stockholm, Moscow, Warsaw, Budapest and maybe Istanbul. Personally I'd avoid going to Japan full stop now (Used to love Japan but not now) but everyone likes different places mine just happens to be Europe

Japan has many historical landmarks and buildings that us foreigners find mystifying. I'm quite fond of Edo-period buildings and culture myself...
Ohmygar, and the food. Enough said.
