I think that mages should take it slow when lvling. You see even tho lvl 24 clerics usually go to mt and are able to kill most things there, they take a while. However the balance in soloing is that you kill faster but get less exp, using stones and maybe some scrolls you could get a mob in Forest Of Mist (FOM) and just keep using magic burst and a few hits on each monster :P Clerics/Fighters = Can Solo/Very Slow. Mages/Archers = Can solo lower lvl mobs (green/yellow) but very fast =)
