I would stick with stones. If they really restore 80% of your current HP/SP they are way cheaper than Pots.
Example for Apo, dunno how it's on Teva:
Pots heal for 200-250, if you have 800 HP/SP you need 3-4 Pots. With stones you would need only 1 (or 2 but that would be a great waste of healing capacity)
I sell my Pots for 35c each, 3-4 Pots = 105-140c. One stone cost around 40 for me. Difference 65-100c. So if you would sell the Pots you would use and use stones instead, you would even make quite a bit of profit of it (considering you would produce them yourself or only use those you find from drops)
Tier2 Pots are sold for quite a bit more so the profit goes up too, even if the stones cost more per lvl.
