PM vs. Rep. Message

You want to get something across that you think was good/bad about someone but wasn't really a big deal -OR- not really having a problem with the other person's posts except a specific one = Rep. Message.

Rep. system was neutered anyway, so rep goes up and down only by a few points even from people with big reputations. Don't care about rep at all and ignore that side of it is an option, noone would have noticed anyway because the bar's still green + handy option of hiding it whenever in User-options.

Also, because this is a relatively small community you're gonna be butting heads whether you like it or not if things get awkweird. Rep. message bypasses a lot of drama (unless you make a thread about it)

That...doesn't make sense. If the whole de-rep was ignored, then what's the thread I just posted this reply in o__o!!!! If the intention of the repper was to stir-up a reaction, well they just got that. Consider just which message was repped and what was written in the message.
