I have worked off and on in the food industry for over 20 year, (I wasn't always a financial nerd). anyway I don't know where you live but i would suggest looking at a job working in the kitchen of a nice swanky type hotel.
The reason is that these hotels usually have several different restaurants in them from bars to fine dining eateries. This will give you an opportunity to see and experience different levels of food prep.
Since you already have experience under your belt you may even escape the dishwasher stage. I don't know why but almost every cook that I have met has started out as a dishwasher.
