I personally think you should do what you want

me I have End Str and Spr considered to be a no no to almost everyone cause I am spreading everything over 3 stats.

But I can solo without any problems and I think I am an excellent axe weilding tank. Well at least in my own mind.

Spr will give you the criticals which is very nice, but there are many who go Str and End builds. That's the great thing about a game you can do anything you want and since they have made the first 30 levels easier to get through you're not out a lot of time if you don't like your build
