I'm not sure, but when Lady Raine accepted Eru's proposal he said it told him something about having three (3) days. So it may be that if you do not go into the chapel within three days then the proposal expires.

If that is the case, I doubt you will get that 200s ring back - which, BTW, once Eru proposed it did NOT transfer that ring into Raine's inventory - that ring just simply disappeared.
