I have Caller ID at home so I just don't answer numbers I don't recognize and when they reach the answering machine they hang up on it, but at work I don't have that luxury since unrecognized numbers may actually be our customers so I answer and if it is a telemarketer I immediately tell them "I'm really not interested but thank you for calling" and quickly hang up on them.
